I’ve always been fascinated with photography. I guess I first got “the bug” at age seven my dad built my mom a darkroom in our basement. It was then that I learned that photography was more than just a means of documenting the chapters in our lives, but that it was also an art form.

I attended Boston University where I studied business but my marketing professor - after viewing my group's commercial -insisted that I go to film school. My aptitude tests in high school and college all pointed to photography and film as the top professions. Shortly after graduating, I built my very own darkroom. A few years later, I took some photos at a friend’s wedding. I developed the film and gave the newlyweds prints as my gift to them and their parents. Not much longer thereafter I received a very flattering note in which they pointed out that my photos were far better than their photographer’s. It was then that I started to take wedding photography seriously.

Less than two years after starting my photography business, I won the award for Best Wedding Photographer in Boston. I went on to win this award one more time and was runner up several times prior to moving my business and family to the Austin area. I’ve also been featured as a Couples Choice Award Photographer, a total of eight times.

My wife, Amy and I have two children - Chelsea and Lincoln. Towards the end of 2018 we acquired one more - Cooper, the Goldendoodle!

They insisted I join in on an impromptu photo -2016.
