Earlier this month on a commercial shoot, I had the opportunity to photograph an actual pilot (no model needed) and the plane he flies in Austin, TX. We wanted to have an early start to take advantage of sunrise and a more saturated sky. This is something I always dreamt of doing and it finally all came together. The lear jet was so cool inside and out. In the wide shot where the pilot is stepping off the plane, it almost looks like I was using a wide angle lens, but I was NOT - just an illusion given the aerodynamics of the plane.
